On August 14, 1945, WWII officially ended. Depending on your time zone, it may have already been August 15th. In Times Square, photographers Alfred Eisenstaedt and Victor Jorgensen snapped nearly identical photos of George Mendonsa, an American sailor, kissing Greta Zimmer Friedman, a nurse.

Sixty years later, artist Seward Johnson created sculptures based on Jorgensen’s work. A 25-foot tall statue, called Unconditional Surrender, is located in San Diego. We couldn't help but highlight our own kiss...Kanna Kiss 1ml from Green Revolution $6.
